This is the final agreement made in the court of the lord King at Westminster on St Michael’s day in the third term 12th William III [1699 etc] between John Brennand gentleman plaintiff and Leonard Leigh gentleman, Christopher Leigh and Mabel his wife, John Battersby and Jenet [his wife?] and Thomas Brennand and Mary his wife deforciants, of two messuages, one cottage, one barn, one stable, two gardens, one orchard, 8 acres of land, 8 acres of meadow, 6 acres of pasture and common pasture for all animals and common turbary with the appurtenances in Slaidburne [standard form follows] John Brennand has given to said parties £100 sterling.
